Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Our Old Vines Zinfandel opens with aromas of tangy black raspberry and orange peel and flows on to a lush yet lively mid-palate of cranberry and raspberry compote. The elegant finish is accented by savory notes of cardamom, maple and sweet tobacco. A Zinfandel that is at home with any cuisine or occasion.

There is no single vineyard to take center stage in this wine. It is an amalgamation of Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley, Rutherford, and Cloverdale. Start to finish a classic example of easy to drink California Zinfandel.

TEETH - Ian Blackburn - 94 points 

Densely colored, dark, deep - nose of black and blue fruits - plum skin.  Richer than most - but not pruny ... creamier than most - but not without balance... great integration, balance, length and complexity - a mixture of spices, fruits, pepper, and deliciousness... really showing well.  Russell Bevon Winemaker.  Color 15, Aroma 24, Body 22.5, Overall 32.5 - 94 Points  (we need more ZIN to taste this good)
