Our second label wine, KEOLA is comprised of barrels and lots from the same vineyards that make up our top-tier Aaron cuvées. These barrels are declassified lots and extra barrels that simply don't find their way into our flagship wines, thus we blend them into KEOLA, our everyday drinking red that massively overdelivers for the price point. Juicy, vibrant and intensely aromatic, its a medium-bodied, absolutely delicious wine that goes with any place, any dish, and any time of day. Comprised mostly of Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre it's a rich and savory, with a blue/red fruit profile and notes of grilled meats and sage/underbrush. The palate is luscious and juicy, loaded with flavors of macerated cherries, cocoa powder, toasty oak, and licorice. Aged for 18 month is 100% French oak, 50% new, it's a wine that will certainly age in the cellar, but we recommend cracking it open now and enjoying it through the remainder of this year!

Each year we create Seafarer as a blend of fruit from our coastal vineyards to create a truly harmonious wine that showcases why we make wine here on the coast. The goal is to create a wine that is more about overall texture, depth, and coastal complexity than individual site expression. In 2022, the blend is based around five vineyards: Rincon, Spanish Springs, Derbyshire, Edna Ranch and Greengate Vineyards, all of which are less than 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean, making them some of the most coastal vineyards in all of California.
92-94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck The 2022 Pinot Noir Seafarer showed beautifully, with a darker strawberry, plum, and mulberry-driven profile offering lots of cooler peppery herb, violet, and underbrush-like nuances. It's medium-bodied, silky, and elegant on the palate.

Sand & Stone is always our most vibrant cuvee due to the large portion of Grenache, one of our most favorite grapes. Grenache absolutely thrives in the limestone soils of Paso Robles, and it seems as well suited here as its traditional home in the Southern Rhone. Coupled with the powerful nature of Petite Sirah, Sand & Stone showcases how we can bring tremendous freshness and overall drinkability to a rather powerful wine. To retain this freshness, we age the cuvee in special thick-staved 350L and 400L puncheon that limit oxygen exposure during elevage. From start to finish it brims with pure, focused fruit; dried strawberries, olallieberry, and black raspberry. Always floral and tremendously aromatic, it features plenty of spicy notes of white pepper, licorice, and smoky oak along with a juicy, youthfully tannic finish.
