Overview of the Wine
In 1952, Raymond Boulard (son of Julien Boulard) decides to make the wine and bottle the champagne. Historic vineyard in the Marne Valley - La Neuville aux Larris/Beval sous chatillon en Meunier. The first vines were planted on the siliceous soil of the St Thierry massif, in the Montagne de Reims. The first plot, "les Murtets" planted in 1965 offers a remarkable view of the small village and the magnificent bell tower of the village of Cormicy. 2 years later, chardonnay vines were planted on the "les Rachais" still on the St Thierry massif. In total, there are approximately 2 hectares located on this St Thierry massif, to the north-east of the Montagne de Reims.
2000 was the beginning of organic farming (brought by Francis Boulard). With the reintroduction of barrel farming, assuming organic farming. Then little by little, biodynamic farming inspired him, offering him more comfort and security in view of the climatic conditions than organic farming. The memories of his grandparents growing vegetables or fruits according to the lunar calendar, allowed him a real ease of understanding, naturally, what for some can seem very tedious. Following this cycle is therefore almost innate for Francis. He found there a path that seems the most appropriate to him.
Since 2009, Delphine Boulard, daughter of Francis Boulard, has been perpetuating the family tradition for six generations. The Boulard family is passionately dedicated to producing organic champagnes of exceptional purity and expressiveness, demonstrating a deep connection with nature.

Champagne Francis Boulard & Fille, Le Murtet is a vintage cuvée from a single plot, certified organic, and composed of 60% pinot noir and 40% chardonnay. The blend is made at the harvest to bring symbiosis and cohesion. This Brut Nature champagne has no added dosage (zero dosage).
Serve at 10°C as an aperitif, or at the table with fish, poultry, white meats, cheeses.
