Overview of the Wine
Our wines are born from an adventure that links France to Mexico. Henri Lurton, owner of the Grand Cru Classé, Château Brane-Cantenac in Margaux, with the support of his eldest sons, Vincent and Nicolas, has placed a confident bid on Baja California. He is convinced of its winemaking potential, the warmth of it’s people and the generosity of the land.
The winemaker Lourdes Martinez Ojeda, after working for almost 10 years at Château Brane-Cantenac, is returning to her hometown of Ensenada to bridge the divide between France and Mexico.
At Bodegas Henri Lurton we seek to faithfully convey nature’s bounty and the Baja terroir, uniting it with our mestizo vision that is based around tradition and authenticity.
Le Nebbiolo 2015 originates from a vineyard in the San Vicente Valley. The grape is harvested at optimum aromatic and technological maturity, in order to obtain the greatest complexity possible without recourse to any correction.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
From an intense and deep purple color, this wine with balsamic aromas of rosemary, thyme, fresh cherry, was fermented at low temperatures to preserve the aromatic purity and expressiveness of the bouquet.
Aged for 14 months in new French oak barrels, the palate shows an elegant freshness and firm but round tannins, almost juicy. This dense and balanced wine has a high aging potential of 10-20 years.
Product size: 750ml
