Overview of the Wine
Royal Prince Wines was founded in in 2016 by vintner David Green, with only one wine, a Santa Maria Pinot Noir. In late 2019, David brought winemaker Maayan Koshcitzky on as a partner, and together in March 2020, they launched Royal Prince. 

Royal Prince is a boutique négociant which specializes in sourcing from top vineyards and the best appellations Their long-term relationships with the West Coast’s best growers and winemakers allow them flexibility each year to focus on the art of blending without being limited to specific vineyards.

Pure sun-ripened lusciousness, Slam Dunk showcases all the power and structure California has to offer. This lush, mega-hit blend knows how to turn up the volume!

Deep, dense and plush, the 2020 SLAM DUNK is inky black in color and filled with aromas of dark plum, violet, shaved cocoa and black pepper. The mouthfeel is packed with sweet black cherry, cinnamon, and espresso. Long and persistent on the finish, the wine shows rich, polished tannins and an opulent core of soft vanilla oak.

This mountain of flavor is designed to accentuate every “slam dunk” moment.
