Hétszőlő is a historic estate in Tokaj, Hungary, known for its exceptional dry and sweet wines, particularly from the Furmint grape. Located on south-facing volcanic slopes, the estate practices organic viticulture, allowing the terroir to shine through in its wines. Hétszőlő produces elegant dry Furmints with vibrant acidity and minerality, as well as renowned Tokaji Aszú sweet wines, crafted from hand-harvested botrytized grapes using traditional methods. The combination of heritage, terroir, and organic practices makes Hétszőlő a standout producer in the Tokaji region.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Very rich in nose where we find apricot, citrus and some dried cantaloupe and other tropical fruits too. We get the same fruitiness on palate along with richness, complexity and with extreme high but elegant acidity. We can feel that it has lots of potential. You may keep it for long years or you can already enjoy it matching with creamy, fruity desserts or with foie gras.

92 Points - Wine Advocate
The 2010 Tokaji Aszu 5-Puttonyos had been bottled just a fortnight before I tasted it. Considering the growing season, this has an impressive bouquet with what seems like plenty of Aszu character. The palate is well-balanced with a zesty opening, plenty of Clementine, peach and apricot notes. The acidity is very racy (12.5 grams per liter), that neatly balanced the 152 grams per liter residual sugar. Vibrant and very focused, this could be one of the best Aszu wines in what was a difficult vintage. It will be not be commercialized for several years, but watch out for this when eventually released.
