Overview of the Wine
"Hand-on-Heart". Manincor wines are naturally pure. The 400 year-old wine estate, carefully and prudently extended by the wine cellar built beneath the vines and hardly noticeable from above, epitomises today the tradition and aspirations of a superior wine culture. The estate's historical buildings date from 1608, built by Hieronymus Manincor. The emperor had endowed him with land beside the Lake of Kaltern for his services to Austria and at the same time raised him to the ranks of the nobility.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Full yellow with green reflexes. The nose is characterized by an aroma of apple, apricot and a hint of sage; tightly knit, elegant and mellow on the palate with refreshing acidity on the finish.

Enjoy with a roasted fillet of salmon with a herb breadcrumb topping, starters and white meats.

92 Points - James Suckling
With its effusive nose of white currants and elderberry blossom, you could almost mistake this elegant dry white for a sauvignon blanc. Very clean and crisp, but also with a healthy amount of substance and a complex citric and wet-stone finish that’s surprisingly long for an entry-level wine. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold.

I look for wines that are unique - fun - a great value and hit my Highly Recommended list. The wine is a little A-Typical as it is a blend but I love what it does... I think James Suckling review is excellent and agree with 92-93 point range but so much fun with food and or just to enjoy with a cruise on the boat.  Amazing with fish, chicken, shellfish - have at it!!!
