Overview of the Wine
Joan Àngel Lliberia, Edetària’s heart and soul, started Edetària’s adventure after studying Agricultural Engineering studies in Lleida and taking a Master of Science in Wine Management at OIV (Office International de la Vigne et du vin); his first wine management professional steps took place in several wine companies in France; then he moved back to Catalunya, where he continued his career in the wine sector and later on multinational corporations.

Edetària produces authentic wines with indigenous grapes, searching the purest soil expression, and restoring old vines value thanks to organic winemaking.

Wine is also a reflection of the mind thinking it, the person designing it and the hands that shape it. Edetària makes wines with its own personality, out of deep terroir knowledge and strict winemaking, but also allowing room to inspiration, and experiment freely for the sake of creativeness.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
This Wine is made from Garnacha blanca from our vineyards located in la Plana de Gandesa. It is a combination of two harvests: an earlier harvest provides all the freshness and fruit flavours, and a second harvest, about two weeks later, which provides Grenache structure to the wine. After fermentation assemblage is made and wine is aged on its own natural lees thereby obtaining delicacy and fineness.

Aromas of fresh fruit: pear and melon. Powerful entry, along with overwhelming fruit, lush with a citrus finish granting persistence to the wine.

Via Terra Selection show Edetària garnatxa nature displaying its top fruitiness and pureness. “All the colours of garnatxa”: garnatxa blanca, garnatxa negre and garnatxa peluda, playful wines, easy drinking to fully enjoy life pleasures.
