Overview of the Wine
Founded in 2017, Alexandrea Winery is much more than just a winery. Rather, Alexandrea represents the beautiful fusion of Armenian culture with winemaking expertise that allows you to explore and experience rustic elegance with every sip of our wine.
Our unwavering commitment extends beyond traditional winemaking – it is a pledge to both innovation and sustainability.
Adam Kablanian’s road to starting a winery has been 20-years in the making. Since first cultivating a true passion for wine as a consumer, Mr. Kablanian has always hoped to one day forge the path into the world of winemaking.
In 2017, he took the first leap by using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes purchased from his neighbor in 2017 in Los Altos Hills, CA (Santa Cruz Appellation) to create his first product. Through this initial endeavor, he gained invaluable winemaking experience by learning to create a delicious product in a highly successful wine-producing region of the world.
Mr. Kablanian believes that wines should reflect their origins; that they are the product of the soil, the climate, and the terroir’s careful supervision. Now, he is more steadfast than ever in his ambition to create top-notch quality wine, and his commitment to doing so by using grapes nurtured in his own homeland of Armenia is his biggest honor.
Sustainable.
