Overview of the Wine
Cantina Sorelle Bronca was founded in the mid-eighties by the sisters Antonella and Ersiliana, whose unconditional enthusiasm for the vine had been transmitted to them from childhood by their father Livio.

The path that the sisters had chosen to undertake independently was that of taking care of the vineyard, as they like to call it: an uphill journey that, from perfect “hill” women, they made it by making it an aspiration, a reality full of passion.

Over the years the vineyards have increased, to become sixteen acres today, all owned and located on the green hills above Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the province of Treviso. The production area enjoys a climate that takes shape between the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea, while the Sorelle property extends in full sunlight, looking south and caressed by excellent ventilation.

The slope on which the vineyards grow is very strong, a condition that leads the roots to go deep into the underlying rock and giving their fruits an intense minerality with a low sugar content.

The artisan tradition collected by the sisters has been combined with modern techniques in respect of the environment, thanks to the important contribution of Piero, Antonella's husband, and Elisa, Ersiliana's daughter: the land is left to work naturally, taking care of it manually ... the vineyards they are in the heart of the Sorelle Bronca like beautiful fragrant gardens, where elegant Prosecco of the highest quality bloom lively, savory and harmonious.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
It is our second single-vineyard located in Farrò di Follina and is the last vineyard purchased by the company. This area has a clayey soil and is between 270 and 310 meters high. The “Particella 232” is an Extra Brut style that goes against the trend of the classic styles with which Prosecco Superiore DOCG is traditionally produced. Its rebellion has been rewarded and its honesty recounts the identity of the territory.

Graceful perlage with a creamy mousse. The altitude adds floral notes to the bouquet and prominent acidity on the palate, making the wine tense and vertical. It is perfect with raw fish, sushi, shellfish, tartare, seafood first courses or light fried foods. Ideal with white meat recipes and Asian cuisine.

90 Points - Gismondi on Wine
There is a new page amongst the hills between Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, home to Italy’s most excellent sparkling wines. The story is a drier style of Prosecco with a focus on terroir. Enter the Bronca sisters and a new organic cuvée of bone-dry Prosecco from this tiny plot high in the hills of Farro di Follina. Particella 232 Nature is 40 years old, and the fruit is aged four months on its lees sans sugar. The mousse is tiny and refined, and the nose floral with a dusting of dried wild herbs. The attack is citrus-forward with a bit of creamy peach and a long, nutty, salty, finish. Impressive and very food-friendly. The blend is mostly glera with smaller amounts of bianchetta and perera grapes.
