Overview of the Wine
Johannes von Gleichenstein studied oenology and did a classic winemaking apprenticeship. He also gained experience in the vineyards of the Australian Yara Valley in order - that was his condition - to take over the centuries-old winery on his own. "A cooperation with the senior would not have gone well - we are both bad stubborn heads," explains Johannes. His takeover has proven to be a complete success. Since Johannes has been running the business, he can regularly look forward to critical praise: "The new collection is a seamless continuation of the strong collection from last year," wrote Eichelmann in 2017 with approval.
"This family business, which has grown to an impressive 45 hectares in recent years [...] stands first and foremost for a lot of elegance [...]." - Gault & Millau, 2017
"Johannes von Gleichenstein is now the eleventh generation to run the business [...]. The great storage potential can be felt and tasted especially [...] with the very storable top wines. " - Gault & Millau, 2017

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
The glass shows salmon-colored nuances with silver reflections. On the nose, this spring and summer companion offers berry notes. These aromas are reflected on the palate and harmonize perfectly with the fruity-fresh acidity. Each sip thus becomes a juicy fresh drinking pleasure.
Goes well with fish or veal dishes as well as grilled vegetables or as an aperitif.
Product Size: 750ml
