Overview of the Wine
Antoine-Marie Arena is the younger son of the famous Antoine Arena, a legendary Patrimonio wine maker in Corsica. After having worked on the family domain since 2004, Antoine-Marie started making his own wines in 2014. He works on 6 hectares including the Carco and Hauts de Carco terroirs, and these are planted with Nielluccio for the reds, and Bianco Gentile, Vermentinu and Muscat for the whites. The result is everything we would expect and more: wines already among the finest in Corsica, offering crisp fruit, elegance and depth.
To the historical vines and cuvées are added new singing names, full of sun and wind, azure sky and no less blue sea. A lot of finesse, a special touch, the reflection of a character and a sensitivity.
Grape / Blend
Muscatellu

Vin de France, Corsica, France
Winemaker's Tasting Notes
This is a traditionally Corsican Muscat since it isn't ‘muté' (meaning no alcohol is added). This makes a wine that retains a normal level of alcohol. Since this cuvée is not mutated (so dry, and not in natural sweet wine .. the reason why this wine is in Vin de France, and not in Muscat appellation of Cap Corse). About 35 gr S/L residual, making it a very digestible Muscat and less sweet than AOCs.
