Overview of the Wine
Established in 1958, the winery now has over 50 members with 120 hectares of vineyards cultivated with Nebbiolo.
Day after day, generation after generation, over fifty families tend the precious Nebbiolo vineyards to produce the finest grapes. The fruit of their labour is delivered to the Winery they founded in 1958 where, with care and respect, it is transformed into Barbaresco wine. From the 1990s, the doors of the international market opened wide: the US, Japan, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom competed for a label that had become an international emblem of typicality and uncompromising quality.
Today, Produttori del Barbaresco is regarded as one of the most prestigious wineries in the area and is an example for cooperatives all over the world. Production totals around 650,000 bottles a year, offering a perfect expression of the terroir and the link with a history in which noble ideals and intelligent entrepreneurial spirit have coexisted, at the service of the community and for the redemption of the territory.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Made since 1958, it is the result of blending grapes from different vineyards in the area of origin. It is the wine that has made the company's history, its flagship wine, synonymous with quality and typicality throughout the world. Medium body vintage, bright red fruit and spicy flavours with an elegant tannic finish. Scent of spices, pepper and black cherries with ripe red fruit and spicy flavors with a balanced tanninc finish.
Pairs well with fresh pasta and red and white meat dishes, particularly lamb and feathered game, mild cheeses.
95 Points - Wine Enthusiast
The 2019 Barbaresco does not disappoint, opening with aromas of fresh cherries, wild thyme and rose petals. Elegant and refined on the palate with notes of crushed raspberries, savory spice and turned earth. The wine finishes with poise and confidence knowing it will most likely outlast all other wines in the cellar.
95 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
There is a more pronounced mineral and delicately spiced character to the 2019 Barbaresco, with notes of wet asphalt and kirsch and vibrant purity. It has elegant concentration, with fine coiled tannins in its hints of tea leaves, bergamot, and ripe wild raspberry, and has a more pronounced structure, This is a fantastic expression. Drink 2024-2040.
93 Points - James Suckling
This is extremely floral and bright on the nose with lavender, violets and dark berries. Orange peel too. Full-bodied and solid with firm tannins and a tight finish.
93 Points - Wine Spectator
This red combines cherry, plum, tar, iron, licorice and eucalyptus aromas and flavors, backed by a firm, refreshing profile. Dense and tight for now; however, the long, resonant finish and lingering fruit and white pepper accents show its potential.
