Overview of the Wine
At Lestrille, Estelle and Jean-Louis Roumage make wines that are modern in style, fruit-driven and made to enjoy. Château Lestrille-Capmartin is owned by Jean-Louis Roumage, an agricultural engineer who combines modern growing and winemaking techniques with a great respect for tradition. The 96-acre property is located in the small town of St. Germain du Puch (the northern point of Entre-Deux-Mers between Libourne and Bordeaux, and about a half- hour southwest of St. Emilion). The Entre-Deux-Mers area is naturally delineated by the Garonne to the south and the Dordogne to the north, and criss-crossed with brooks and rivulets. The beneficial influence of the oceanic climate and the predominantly clay and limestone soils are ideally suited for wine growing. Lestrille believes the essence of winemaking lies in the vineyard itself, and therefore, they use sustainable wine-growing practices and do their best to respect the balance of both their vines and soil.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
A fantastic blend bringing intense aromas of citrus, lime and pear on the nose and unveiling an expressive mineral character on the palate. This wine is lively with good length and shows remarkable balance. A great match for seafood dishes such as crab ravioli or oysters.
The grapes to produce Entre deux Mers Château Lestrille were harvested at optimum maturity, followed by skin contact and a cold stabilisation. The fermentation for Entre deux Mers Château Lestrille took place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, followed by maturation in stainless steel, for a period of five months. This wine was vinified with the utmost care, respecting the grape varieties, their aroma and flavour profiles and the wine’s ultimate personality.
The vineyards are cultivated according to “la lutte raisonnée” using sustainable methods and reducing the amount of chemicals used in order to respect the land and its environment. The vineyard soils are predominantly clay and limestone.
At Chateau Lestrille, Estelle Roumage makes modern, fruit-driven wines. They use sustainable winegrowing practices to respect the balance of the soil as they believe the essence of winemaking lies in the vineyard itself. They vinify each plot on their 45-hectare property separately with tailor-made precision. The Château is located at the northern point of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in the small town of St. Germain du Puch between Libourne and Bordeaux.
