Overview of the Wine
Vibrant young winemaker Jean-Francois Bordet’s family has been making wine in the Maligny village of Chablis for 19 generations. Records go back to the 1590’s. The estate includes 14 hectares of vineyard in Petit Chablis, Chablis Villages, and Fourchaumes. In addition, Vaillons 1er cru and Vaudesir Grand Cru are purchased from neighbors who farm organically. The vines range in age from 15 to over 100 years old. The soil is Kimmeridgian sea bottom loaded with limestone and chalk.
Historical site of the birth of Chablis. Rich soils from The Kimmerridgian give our wines their specificity and unique “iodine” character. This maritime origin gives our wines a specific iodine character, genuine and inimitable typicity. They are lovingly planted with an eco-friendly respect of the balance of nature.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Very pretty pale golden yellow in colour with lightgreenish glints. Bright, luminous and limpid. The nose is copious, fresh and expressive. It illustrates its maturity with bright colours, sparkling yellows and shining gold. The taste again reveals its powerful nature, rich, charming and elegant.. A harmonious combination of powerful mollowness and tender vivacity. The long , so obviously mineral finish is a perfect illustration of the wines serious yet charming character.
