Overview of the Wine
Domaine aux Moines is located in Anjou, in the Loire valley. Since 1981, Monique Laroche and her daughter Tessa, make elegant wines. Their wines have a solid notoriety. They will both enjoy welcoming you to the Domaine, on reservation only, for you to discover them! Tessa, when coming to work at the Domaine, brought with her improvement to keep maintaining vineyard while taking care of the environment. The Domaine has initiated organics in 2006. Tessa is now moving towards biodynamic agriculture.

From the youngest vines on the property, bordered by a row of trees named "Le Berceau des Fees", the cradle of the fairies. Southwest-facing Schist with some sandstone and clay.

Special Note: Organically farmed - Natural-path wine production with low use of additional sulfur

Tasting Notes
Le Berceau de Fees" by Domaine Aux Moines is a lovely and juicy Chenin Blanc from young vineyards of famous Roche-aux-Moines grand cru. It opens on the nose to clean and straight aromas of fruit, flowers and aromatic herbs, surrounded by sharp saltiness. The sip is fresh and direct, animated by great acid shoulder and long mineral persistence.
