Overview of the Wine
Colgin Cellars produces exquisitely handcrafted red wines using only the finest neo-classical winemaking methods in concert with small yields, gentle handling, attentive sorting and meticulous blending.
The Colgin winery, completed in 2002, is located at the northern end of IX Estate in the Pritchard Hill area of St. Helena, California. The state-of-the-art winery provides an inspiring view of Lake Hennessey. In 2017 we agreed to the exciting opportunity to become a strategic partner of the LVMH group. The only American wine label to be part of their Vins de Exception Group, Colgin Cellars is included with Chateau Cheval Blanc, Chateau D’Yquem, and Domaine du Clos des Lambrays. We are honored to be partnered alongside these historic properties as we work to produce incredible wine from some of the most exciting wine regions in the world.

Winemaker Tasting Notes
Jubilation is our newest wine in the Colgin Cellars collection. Jubilation is our Cabernet Sauvignon-based wine created with a selection of barrels that display earlier drinking characteristics from our three hillside vineyards. As our vine age has matured and small additions have been made to our original holdings, we had the privilege of increasing our selectivity. Following the blending of our single-vineyard wines, we were fortunate to have a collection of barrels that conveyed the same elegance and complexity for which we are known, yet on a more supple, approachable frame. Jubilation is a wine ready to enjoy now, with the pedigree to age gracefully in the cellar, maintaining the Colgin Cellars’ hallmarks of perfume, freshness, and minerality.
I have purchased wines from the COLGIN team for the past 20 years. They not only own some of the best dirt, but have developed some of the greatest wine talent and use the most exacting standards. This is ALWAYS a wine that impresses at EVERY level. - Ian Blackburn
PS. We have not had the pleasure of tasting this wine as of yet, but are fortunate to get to sell it and my day and time to taste it is coming soon. I will report back.
