Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Crafted from grapes grown on the elevated terrains of Howell Mountain, this distinctive mountain-top Merlot is dark and intense with notes of toasted cedar, wild brambleberry, and smoky tobacco. Ripe, fleshy black fruit and deep chocolate flavors give way to a velvety mouthfeel while soft oak tannins complement the distinctive minerality unique to the Howell Mountain terroir. Presently, this wine showcases its elegance exquisitely and promises to evolve, gaining complexity over the next 10 to 12 years.
