About the Wine
With Vivier wines, Stéphane and Dana are able to blend their respect for tradition with their enthusiasm for emerging winegrowing regions, and their love of Pinot Noir. It’s family owned and operated, which means the kids are in the vineyard almost as much as their parents, wine deliveries are family road trips, and case production is extremely limited. There are no angel investors or rich relatives, in fact the whole enterprise was bankrolled on a single credit card. But they are doing what they love, making wine that you’ll love. La vie est belle.

Winemaker:  Stephane and Dana Vivier

100% Pinot Noir

Sonoma County, California

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
The label depicts a famed 1906 balloon race over the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris. Picnickers gathered in the garden and diners filled the neighborhood terraces, eager to watch the launch of this inaugural overseas race. It’s a perfect moment of joy and anticipation—exactly how you should feel when you enjoy a fine rosé.

93 Points - James Suckling
An elegant, almost steely rosé that's powered by fresh acidity, minerals and tangy raspberry and peach skin flavors. Bone dry, light-bodied and so appetizing. Drink now. (2024 Vintage)

92 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Fermented in concrete and stainless steel, the 2024 Rosé of Pinot Noir has a pale onion-skin color and delicate scents of just-ripe strawberries, raspberry leaves and crème fraîche. The medium-bodied palate offers detailed flavors delivered in a gently rounded texture. It’s enlivened by vibrant acidity and has a long, nuanced finish. Reminiscent of a rosé from Provence, enjoy it over the next 3-5 years. 149 cases were made. (2024 Vintage)
