Overview of the Wine
Vite Colte is the art of cultivating the vine. Knowledge that comes from the interaction between different worlds and generations: on one hand, rural knowledge, experience, tradition and the typically Piedmontese passion for meticulous work; and on the other, research and scientific knowledge. The ViteColte project involves one hundred and eighty winegrowers, who cultivate three hundred hectares of vineyard

Vite Colte is made up of people who strongly believe in a shared concept of quality, where the responsibility of individuals is an integral part of the final result. Winegrowers, partners, friends. The members of ViteColte are "accomplices" in a project that demands dedication to quality which is every bit as strict as the protocols implemented in its pursuit. Every winegrower is remunerated on the basis of the size of the vineyard and not the quantity of product, in order to obtain the highest level of quality.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Ruby red shading to garnet. Bouquet is very intense and really complex, with scents of ripe plum and black cherry. Exhibiting powder coffee and tobacco notes as well.

Palate is rich and generous. Persistent with sweet and well integrated tannins. The finish and aftertaste show notes of vanilla and cherry.

Wine Enthusiast - Top 100 Best Buys of 2025
A generous Barbera that shows its plush side with immediate appeal. Sweet baking spices weave through ripe dark fruits, creating an inviting warmth. The texture unfolds like velvet, while notes of cinnamon, star anise and a touch of vanilla carry through from first sip to finish. This is a wine that's comfortable in its own skin, offering straightforward pleasure.

97 Points - Luna Maroni
A visual spectacle, with its overflowing cascade of juicy purple fruit. Reflections of its hue radiate a vibrant, lingering vigor. That residual liveliness fuels its majestic driving vein. Never over-alcoholic, as the degree remains veiled beneath the drapery of its powerful extractive mantle. It is fully cloaked in it. Concentration that the touch renders creamy, the flavor deep, fleshy and incisive. The triumphant ripeness of the grapes is at the core of its fabulous softness on the palate. And such suaveness becomes the accessibility of its dense yet never bitter tannin. Finally, the aromatic gifts: its siren call of blackberry and violet rings pure, never acetically sharp, and of enological, refined craftsmanship. A great wine of exceptional clarity in execution. 97 points.

92 Points - James Suckling
A very attractive mix of ripe strawberries, blueberries and cherries with crushed herbs, dried flowers and spices on the nose. So refined and delicious on the palate. Silky and even with a medium to full body and lingering finish. Generous yet fresh and balanced. Drink or hold.
