Overview of the Wine
Sagemoor’s parent company, Allan Bros. Inc., is a multi-generational family owned and operated company with a rich history in agriculture beginning in the 1930’s in the Yakima Valley. In 2014, Allan Brothers purchased Sagemoor Vineyards from its original founders who began planting vineyards in 1972. For fifty years, Sagemoor Vineyards has provided premium wine grapes from our iconic vineyards to dozens of the most renowned wineries and winemakers in Washington.

Sagemoor’s holdings include over 1,200 acres of planted vineyards, comprised of six separate vineyards: Bacchus, Dionysus, Gamache and Sagemoor are located in the White Bluffs AVA along the Columbia River near Pasco, WA. Weinbau is located in the Wahluke Slope AVA near Mattawa, WA and Southwind is near Milton-Freewater, OR in the Walla Walla Valley AVA.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Bordeauxs most intensely concentrated, richly flavored and unique red wine. An incredible power, depth and richness yet a remarkable balance with penetrating aromas of ripe mulberry, black currant and fruit and spicy vanilla oak, setting it apart from all Bordeauxs finest wines.

A sleek and flavorful red with aromas of dark raspberries, licorice, orange peel, toasted hazelnuts and bay leaves. Full-bodied with a fine-tannin frame. Excellent balance. 92% merlot, 7% cabernet sauvignon and 1% cabernet franc. Drink or hold.

The 2021 Red Blend Estate opens with a dark and brooding blend of crushed ashen stones, grilled herbs, violet pastille and blackberries. This is juicy and round in feel, with vibrant acidity and masses of ripe red and blue fruits. It finishes long and finely structured with dusty tannins, leaving hints of licorice and confectionary spice to fade. This is a blend of 92% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc
