About The Producer
Vincent and Raphaël, along with a team of professionals, are working rigorously and passionately on 11.5ha of vines.

For 5 generations now, they have worked hand in hand with their team to offer Champagnes that are as consistent and fair as possible.

Every action has been adequately thought out. Of course our land is plowed and we also use weed control to limit disease. This vegetation cover avoids herbicides, insecticides and anti-rots.

Everything begins with the soil. The fertilization is organic. We feed wildlife which in turn feeds flora and thus the soil is working.

Our team of winemakers always prune and maintain the vineyards with high sensitivity. They respect the personality of each vine.

All our interventions during the growing season are based on disease tolerance. No treatment is systematic. We adjust dosage to the vine with the best agricultural technologies. Moreover effluents is never released and each waste is reprocessed.

As a result the House Bérêche has one of the lowest treatment frequency index in the Champagne region. It is also among the first to be certified High Environmental Quality (level 3).

Tasting Notes
Our complexity of terroir offers a composition that is both rich and tasty (Vallée de la Marne) and fine and limestone (Montagne de Reims). The 3 grape varieties are expressed in equal parts, they sublimate the message of the soil by bringing both wine, refinement (35% of reserve wines) and aromatic persistence (ageing on lee, chalk). A wine of fullness, patinated, complex with aromas of autolysis (biscuit). A consistent wine texture and a creamy bubble. The chalk is well present in the finish, delicately saline, long mouth and sapid.

95 Points - Decanter
This dynamic estate was established in 1847 but it is the arrival of brothers Raphael and Vincent that has transformed the house. There are 11ha of old vines around Ludes in the Montagne de Reims. Organic principles are used in the vineyard with extended ageing in oak and on cork adding to the depth of the wines. Sophisticated and complex, with a creamy texture and toasty notes, peach and apple fruit, purity of flavour and crisp acidity to balance. Disgorged in November 2024, with a dosage of 5.2g/L. Alcohol 12.5%. Drinking Window: 2025-2030.

92 Points - Wine Advocate
The NV Brut Réserve is the foundational wine at Bérêche, and the latest release is based on the 2022 vintage, incorporating a 40% perpetual reserve component, uniting the freshness of the northern slopes and the maturity of the hot, dry vintage. Fruit for this wine comes from vineyard sites across the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de Marne, and the Champagne was disgorged in October 2024 with six grams per liter dosage. Bursting from the glass with aromas of nectarine, orange zest and brioche, it's medium- to full-bodied and ample, with considerable density, underpinned by racy acidity and concluding with a chalky finish. The Brut Réserve has seen the most refinements in recent years as it no longer incorporates tailles and now features Chardonnay from Trépail; technically, this means that the pH is lower and the acidity is higher. It’s one of the most reliable entry-level NV bottlings on the market. Drink: 2025-2035.
