Winemaker's Tasting Notes
"There's a strong scent of red and black berries, as well as an infusion of raspberries, currants, and other indigenous fruit, with mint and liquorice leaves bringing out the balsamic notes that surround them." These are the most accurate description of the original Garnacha varietal's high-altitude vineyards.
95 Points - Tim Atkin
Super fresh, wild berries, sappy, incense, subtle wet concrete notes. Detailed, layered, refined. Pure Garnacha.
94 Points - Ian Blackburn "TEETH"
Nose is a cool mixture of amphora and fruit... leading to a very spicy, berry, and advancing set of complexed aromas - red fruits - like currants, tomato leaf, stone, balsamic with balance, medium intensity, medium concentration, plus points for nose and nice mouthfeel... a very good complexed wine. C14.5, N22.5, B33, O33 - this wine has been a knock out at every showing.
