Overview of the Wine
Cantine Ascheri have their origin in La Morra, in the Borgata “Ascheri,” at the dawn of the 19th century, where the first vines were planted, the first wines were produced and an “Ascheri method” for a new canopy management was implemented.
Our winery has been created as a place to protect and preserve what the vineyard produces without overturn its characteristics. Without ideological or commercial approaches, but only technical ones. The choice to limit as much as possible the use of technology, the influence of wood and the contribution of additives is therefore functional to have the clearest possible expression of the vineyard, the grape variety and our ideas.

Aromas of orange rind, tea and a subtle herbal note. The palate is juicy and medium- to full-bodied, with subtle mid-palate fruit and a gently chewy finish. This vineyard is located in La Morra on clay soil. Better in a year or two.
