In the beautiful country of Véron, rocked between the Loire and the Vienne, the Olga Raffault domain has been transmitting its know-how to produce its Chinon wines for five generations! Olga Raffault has dedicated her entire life to these landscapes that she loved so much and has always been able to share her love of wine!

Today, Olga's granddaughter, Sylvie Raffault, with her husband Eric de la Vigerie and their son Arnaud de la Vigerie intend to maintain the good recipes of the past, a true family heritage, by combining modernity and Tradition with the efficiency of an exploitation always attentive to the requirements of a national and international clientele.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
After an early spring the hot and dry summer built us a very successful vintage with a deep color, a beautiful concentration in the mouth to offer a nice aging potential.

Perfect for Poultry and White Meat and Deli meats where simply as an aperitif.

Serve at 14 to 16°C.

Aromas of violet, spring flowers and dark wild berries preface the 2022 Chinon Les Barnabés, a moderately weighted, juicy and enveloping wine with a seamless, enveloping texture that segues into a delicate finish thanks to velvety tannins. This is a fine Cabernet Franc that offers nuanced complexity.
