Overview of the Wine
Born in 2000 from a meeting: that of Koji and Jae Hwa and their shared passion for wine, Maison Lou Dumont is today based in the heart of the village of Gevrey-Chambertin.
It is with work and resilience that they have built a reputation over the years among their peers in Burgundy. Accompanied by a multicultural team, Maison Lou Dumont continues to develop both in terms of the quality of the wines and the quantity of bottles produced.
For over 20 years, Koji and Jae Hwa have been buying grapes and must from other producers in the region, most of whom have become friends. It is thanks to these loyal partners that Maison Lou Dumont tries year after year to produce new quality vintages.
Around thirty appellations are vinified each year at the estate, with a majority of red wine. The annual production, which is now around 80,000 bottles, allows the wines to be distributed in over 30 different countries around the world.
