Overview of the Wine
The domain has belonged to the Benoit family for more than 100 years. The owner today Jérôme Benoit is educated as an oenolog and decided to bottle the wines at the domain. Therefore new cellars were built in 2002.
The family winery of the Mas des Flauzières, in Entrechaux, cultivates its vines on an exceptional vineyard located on the hillsides of the valley of the Ouvrieze, on sandy and stony soils. The property extends over several villages between Avignon, Carpentras and Gigondas, from Mont Ventoux to the protected site of the Dentelles de Montmirail.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
A full, dense, concentrated and fruity wine. It is fleshy, goule, with silky tannins and a very nice length in the mouth.
To be served at 16°C, it blends perfectly with full-bodied dishes such as a veal stir-fry with morels, a shoulder of lamb with pistou, or a roasted rib of beef. It also accompanies a tray of ripened cheeses very well.
94 points - Jeb Dunnuck
The deep ruby-hued 2023 Gigondas Four Danuga checks in as a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre. With rocking framboise, pepper, sweet flower, and incense-driven aromatics, this beauty hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, graceful mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It has a kiss of modern character with its purity and subtle oak, but it's still a classic Gigondas that has so much to love. 94 points.
91 points - James Suckling
A dense, fruit-driven and creamy blend of 70% grenache, 20% syrah and 10% mourvedre. It shows sweet cherries, ripe berries and warm spices on the nose following through to a full body with creamy tannins. Round, dense and supple. Drink now.
