Overview of the Wine
Champagne Collard-Picard was founded in 1996, building on the savoir-faire passed down through the families of Olivier Collard and Caroline Picard.
With its address at 15 avenue de Champagne, Épernay, Maison Collard-Picard is run according to uncompromising standards in matters of quality. With diplomas in viticulture-oenology, Olivier and Caroline Collard-Picard farm 16 hectares.
Maison Collard-Picard draws its distinctive character from the history of two Champagne families which, since 1889, have farmed two noble terroirs: the Vallée de la Marne for the Collard branch and the Côte des Blancs for the Picard branch. You cannot be born into Champagne country without being imbued with the sap of its grapevines. For Maison Collard-Picard, this has seeped down through two centuries, from generation to generation. It expresses the ancestral know-how of artisans who have charted the course of a genuine passion. These are four generations, therefore, which - in the service of quality - have passed on, each to the next, the expertise involved in producing exceptional champagne.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
ADN Noir reveals the distinctive character of the black grapes from the right bank of the Marne Valley. Made from equal parts Meunier and Pinot Noir, this cuvee comes from a perpetual reserve started in 2015. Like all of the estate's wines, ADN Noir is vinified and aged in large oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation, in order to preserve the purity of the fruit and the natural tension of the wine. After a minimum of six years of bottle aging, it reveals a fleshy and fresh attack, precisely expressing the duality and complementarity of the two Champagne Pinots. Its straightforward and vibrant finish highlights a remarkable freshness.
Beautiful deep gold colour. A nose of ripe fruit with hints of cherry and biscuit. On the palate, a fresh, fleshy attack that perfectly reveals the imprint of black grapes. The finish is tangy, with intense toasty tones.
92 Points - The Wine Palate
The NV Extra Brut ADN Blanc de Noirs is composed of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier, disgorged in August 2024, with a dosage of 3 grams per liter. It skips out of the glass with cheery notes of lemon drops, yellow apples, and honeysuckle, leading to hints of spice cake and oyster shell. The palate is crisp and vibrant with citrusy flavors and a zesty finish.
91 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier brings red fruit aromas and a light structure to the glass. The Champagne is ripe with fresh acidity and white fruits taste, suggesting that this bottling need aging.
90 Points - Decanter
Honeyed apricots and ripe oranges are lifted by toasted walnut and yogurt aromas. Rich and intense on the palate with refreshing acidity.
