Overview of the Wine
Our soul lives in the cellars of each of our cooperatives. For generations our people have given their best to make Unió become a reference in winemaking. Our wines can be found in more than 30 countries around the world. Unió is an undeniable referent in catalan winemaking industry.

We are strongly committed to our land and our people, and this commitment has driven Cellers Unió’s activity for more than 70 years. We believe that the best way of showing this commitment is crafting excellent wines, which serve as a tribute to our farmers’ work and, at the same time, guarantee our environment’s sustainability. This way we’ll keep alive the spirit of all those generations who have dedicated their life to agriculture.

To achieve this goal we promote sustainable agriculture and invest in our cellars and facilities to upgrade their equipment. At the same time we pay attention to whatever our associate cooperatives might need, including technical service, training, IT, legal advice, estate management and supplies.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Intense scarlet colour. Aromas of fresh red fruit (strawberries, raspberries, etc.) and black fruit (blackberries) with hints of balsamic, aromatic herbs and spice, culminating with notes of fruit compote in the back of the nose. Light entry in the mouth, evolves slowly on the palate. Unctuous, fleshy and well-rounded, with hints of liquorice, delicate tannins and persistent fruit.

Awash with juicy, mouthwatering flavour: fresh strawberry compote interlaced with dark berries, cherries and plums, underpinned by savoury, earthy tones. Long, well defined and pure. 

91 Points - James Suckling
Aromas of red cherries and fresh cranberries with floral, herbal touches. Medium-bodied with tight-grained tannins from the fruit and a firm, crunchy finish. The firmness cuts off the ripeness, delivering good structure and balance. Garnatxa, samso and syrah. Drink now.
