Aromas of Asian pear and with hints of orange blossom, lemon curd,
and sweet, toasty vanilla bean lead to a palate that explodes with
forward bright fruit, balanced acidity, and subtle oak notes. This wine is drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop in the bottle.

Overall - this is the most outstanding wine I have tasted from ZD.  There is an energy here that makes you say "wow" - texture, acidity, balance - all magnificent.  I was glad to see others felt as passionately as I did... this is made for the robust chardonnay fan and carries all you would expect and more.  Beautiful textbook apple and pear, lush and hint of biscuit, vanilla, creamy lemon, orange peal meringue, and a long smooth finish... outstanding wine.  C 14/ Aroma 24/ Body 24/ Overall 34

This flavorful and generous wine curls through the mouth with flavors of lemon curd and cream, followed quickly by crisp nectarine and spices. A squeeze of lime brightens the lingering finish. Delicious, fresh and textural.
