Overview of the Wine
Giuseppe Quintarelli was the 'Maestro del Veneto', establishing a legendary estate over a 60-year period. He is known as the father of Amarone.
Since his passing, the legacy has been honoured and continued first by Giuseppe’s daughter Fiorenza, and son-in-law Giampaolo, and now by his grandsons Francesco and Lorenzo.
The name itself stands for so many things, but more than anything, a way of doing things the right way.
It’s about more than just wine though. From, beautiful handwritten labels, to the best quality corks, to the exquisite wine in the bottles, the Quintarelli name is the ultimate indication of an artisanal, handmade, and uncompromising wine of the highest quality.

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
A beautiful red wine from the famed Quintarelli estate that's made from the known trio of grapes: Corvina, Rodinella, and Molinara. "Primofiore" means "first flowering". This is made from the first round of grape harvesting from the vines used for the Cà del Merlo. This is meant to be consumed young and boasts aromas of Gaeta olives, cherries, spice and vanilla.
93 Points - Vinous
The 2023 Primofiore is more savory than sweet, opening with dusty rose tones, a beguiling whiff of tangerine, wild strawberries and stone dust. It is round and energetic in style, perfumed with violet and lavender tones as ripe blackberry fruits swirl throughout. The finish is classically dry and long, yet remarkably fresh, leaving a subtle tannic crunch and a hint of wild blueberry to linger.
