Overview of the Wine
A family vineyard, nourished by the passion of wine and the taste for sharing.

It was in 1976 that the Roux family began to create their own wine.

For the record, the Château la Pirouette takes its name from the place in which it is located. At the time, Mr. ROUX (Michèle Roux’s father) a farmer, married a winemaker. Together in 1978, they decided to use their fertilized land to plant their own vineyards.

They cultivate them according to the principles of reasoned struggle, to produce a wine as healthy as their father did at the time, because it has always been a priority for the family to bring out the best of the soil.
A great concern for the environment imposes on them increased vigilance, but the modern techniques put at the service of oenology allow them to progress constantly.

Today, it is 33 hectares of vineyards that allow you to taste the great wines of Château La Pirouette.

Sustainable.

Tasting Notes
This wood-aged wine is softly textured and ripe. A blackberry aroma and a polished texture show the wine's promise. Tannins are backed by succulent black currant flavors and juicy acidity. This is a balanced wine that will be ready from 2026

92 Points - Wine Independent
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 La Pirouette gallops out with energetic notes of crushed blackberries and fresh plums leading to hints of sassafras, mossy tree bark, and Sichuan pepper. The medium-bodied palate is bright and shiny, with vibrant black fruit and grainy tannins, finishing with lovely purity. The blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec.
