Overview of the Wine
Founded in 1974, Querciabella enjoys the acclaim of the world’s most discriminating critics and consumers for wines such as Camartina, Batàr, Palafreno and Querciabella Chianti Classico. In its uncompromising pursuit of quality, sustainability and authenticity, Querciabella has continually honed its approach to biodynamic viticulture for over a decade. With vineyards located throughout Tuscany’s Chianti Classico and Maremma areas, Querciabella exemplifies the mindful preservation of tradition through forward-thinking, albeit completely natural winemaking.
Querciabella’s Chianti Classico represents the pinnacle of high-altitude, perfectly exposed Sangiovese fruit. A beautiful balancing act of crisp, inviting acidity, pure varietal fruit flavor and character deriving from sourcing the grapes from top sites in three of the the denomination’s best sub-zones. A wine and food lovers’ delight.
Vegan:At Querciabella, we stand firmly against the harming of animals, and abhor the cruelty and exploitation that are inherent in factory farming, but also in “organic” animal farming.

Bright ruby-red core with a slight purple hue. Aromas of rose, violet, redcurrant cherries and juniper berries with a hint of licorice. Juicy on the palate, confirming the red berry fruits on the nose. Fine tannins that integrate perfectly with nice acidity. Persistent finish with a pleasant, savory note.
Querciabella Chianti Classico has been the centerpiece of Querciabella's winemaking operations since the winery's debut. Consistently ranking at the highest levels of critical acclaim it's a real delight for wine and food enthusiasts all over the world.
94 Points - James Suckling
Plenty of sweet berry and cherry character with hints of stone and fresh mushrooms. Chocolate, too. It’s medium-bodied with a solid core of fruit and a chewy yet refined texture. Flavorful finish. Solid and very integrated. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold.
91 Points - Wine & Spirits
Sangiovese from estate-owned vineyards in Greve, Gaiole and Radda forms the basis for this lively wine. Its red-cherry and cranberry flavors are tangy and fresh, tinged with hints of orange peel and framed by taut, raspy tannins that make it an excellent partner at the dinner table.
