Overview of the Wine
Erick Plata is the winemaker and owner of Vinos Plata, a boutique winery located in the Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, Mexico. He is known for producing high-quality wines, including the popular Plata Pura Merlot. Erick Plata has gained recognition for his artisanal approach to winemaking, creating wines that have been praised by critics and enthusiasts alike.

Erick began his journey in wine learning at La Escuelita, then experimenting at Casa de Piedra, coordinating Paralelo and finally taking over his own project Vinos Plata, which he has worked on for more than fifteen years. Today he can be found in the Vinos Plata winery, personally serving the curious who come to taste a glass in our "Silver Mine."

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Appearance is purple with violet trim. Nose starts with black fruits reminiscent of blackberry, fig and cherry, a slight herbal note, little by little it lets out the aromas of wood that are complemented by a menthol note, it has decorations of spices such as pink pepper and cocoa. Good body, a lot of ripe fruit flavor and a floral aftertaste adorned with a small mineral note, you can feel the tannin of the wood, caramel, toast and in the background a little vanilla.

It is recommended to be accompanied with any type of charcoal-grilled meat or poultry.
