Weingut Jäger, "Ried Klaus" Grüner Veltliner Federspiel, Wachau, Austria, 2020
Overview of the Wine
Our winery is in the middle of the Wachau in the Danube valley in Austria, which is a particularly favourable area for wine making due to the climate and soil.
For generations the family business has placed great value on sustainable wine making.
The vineyards in the best locations around Weißenkirchen are individually farmed and cultivated according to their position, the soil and the type of grape.
By careful processing during the harvest and wine making, the natural aromas of the different types of grapes are preserved.
You are welcome to come and taste our wine in our winery!

Winemaker's Tasting Notes
It is rich, expressive and a sightly peppery zest – very elegant. This wine has a certain mineral tone which makes it a Wachau classic and enjoyable to drink. A perfect campanion to a lively conversation.
The selective hand harvest took place at the beginning of October.
