Overview of the Wine
Terrazze dell’Etna is nature, is passion, is Etna reflecting its unique land in the product: it is the desire to create excellent wines in a place where all is possible.
Nerello Mascalese, is the main grape of the winery, a common thread that binds the entire production.
The company’s logo represents a stylized bunch of grapes: the grapes are very large showing the attention to detail and meaning that every single grape will guarantee a wine of extraordinary quality. The packaging’s colors recall those of the Etna’s landscape: the brown color for the lava’s soil where the vineyards are being grown, the red color for the volcano’s fire, and the white for the volcanic ashes.
The unrivaled result of centuries-old traditions, of the use of modern technologies and of a constant effort to protect the natural local environment, our wine, endowed with a unique personality, is the very essence of a sun-drenched Sicily, full of warmth and passion.

Ian Blackburn's Review
This is a mature wine. It will come off smoky, earthy, rustic, and now at 10 years of age mature. This is not for those that love fresh fruit. Shop this wine on line - it has a 90% approval on Wine Searcher 4.7 stars out of 5. However, your personal experience will vary and it is not for the fresh fruit fan. Sometimes wines get better with age, and sometimes they just get old.. this is a wine with some aging potential but I wouldn't put this one down for much longer. This wine is also as much as $60 on line - and a great value here for the right client.

Showing elegance and structure, this opens with aromas of underbrush, earth, leather, herb and a balsamic note. On the vibrant palate firm, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity frame dried cherry, mocha, licorice and exotic spice. Candied orange zest and a mineral note close the finish. - Kerin O' Keefe
