Overview of the Wine
Founded in the 13th century by the Knights Templar, RUMOR’s supplier vineyard covers an area of some 850 hectares dotted with oaks and olive groves, with 93 hectares dedicated to growing grapes. Thanks to its outstanding natural location the lands were a favoured staging post and a place of rest for pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land. At an elevation of 330 metres on the lower slopes of the Massif des Maures, the vineyard sits on clay and limestone soil which is ideal for viticulture.
RUMOR is an elegant premium rosé produced and bottled in Flassans-sur-Issole, the heart of the South of France Provence Region. Covering an area of over 850 hectares, the vineyard, which is dotted with oaks and olive groves, has been a producer of the finest quality wine for over 800 years.

94 Points - Ian Blackburn
RUMOR is crispy yet round, light but plush, high toned and has a nice base. After tasting 12 similar wines - we selected Rumor not just because its got a very nice exterior package, but the wine inside has a freshness and flavor profile and checks all the boxes. Color is 14/15 - beautiful soft pale pink, Aroma is as it should be - ocean air, floral, soft notes of fresh strawberry and yellow cherry 23.5/25, Body is really nice - firm in the right places and curvy in just the right places - the mouth has good richness but a long finish that isnt too drying but refined and elevated in quality. 23.5/25 Overall Impression 33/35 - absolutely a solid wine that sticks the landing. 94 Points
