Overview of the Wine
Ōlelo Wines were created in 2009 by Master Sommelier Michael Jordan as an exclusive offering for Disney’s Aulani Resort at Ko Olina, Hawaii. An instant success in the islands, these artisan, handcrafted wines have become popular and are now available at exclusive locations in California and across the country. Part of the allure is that the wines are made "Island Style" easy drinking yet full of character. They pair perfectly with Southern California’s lifestyle and fresh, healthy Clean Food.
Ōlelo is the Polynesian language of Hawaii. It means “word” in Hawaiian and is the inspiration for these easy drinking “Island Style” wines. The three colors in the ‘Ōlelo label represent the Land (Aina), the Sea (Kai) and the Sky (Lani).
Just as there is a natural balance between the Aina, Kai and Lani, fine wines also need to have a natural balance. Our handcrafted wine making techniques ensure ‘Ōlelo Wines are naturally well balanced and satisfying.
