Overview of the Wine
"All over the world, people have fallen head over heels for these gorgeous pale pink wines. Delicate and divine, elegant and uncomplicated…they're the good life in a glass. And of course, they taste delicious. Santé!"
About Us: Stephen had beavered away in the corporate world for 15 years and in August 2008 he turned down a promotion that would have meant more money but also more stress, longer hours and less time with our young family.
Soon after, a good redundancy offer seemed the perfect opportunity to turn our dreams into reality. After selling our beloved house, we left London in August 2009. With barely a word of French spoken between us, our worldly possessions were packed up on the back of a truck and we headed south to a small village called Cotignac, in the heart of Provence.
We spent a year getting our bearings, learning to live the Provençal way and criss-crossing the country researching and finding the best vineyards to work with. The next step was setting up a small wine business with the principle objective of making a Provence rosé that would be regarded as one of the very best from the region, while building a brand that people would grow to love. In order to achieve this aim, we put together a highly experienced winemaking team and we threw our heart and soul into the brand and innovative communications with our customers. Mirabeau is now being sold in more than 50 markets and we’ve won medals and earned acclaim from some of the world’s toughest wine critics. But, what really makes us happiest is that our wines have become an integral part of people’s lives and are synonymous with friends and family having a great time together.

Blend: 90% Grenache, 10% Syrah
Côtes de Provence, France
Pale peach colour with hints of bright apricot. A classical Côtes de Delicate, luminous pale lychee colour with some silver reflexes. A complex rosé with a wide aromatic palette on the nose, whilst being elegant and subtle.
92 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Bright, tightly textured and crisp, this wine is full of fresh fruit. Red-currant flavors and tangy, spicy acidity come from the 90% Grenache in the blend. The top rosé from this producer, it's full of richness and concentration. Drink from late 2020.
92 Points - Vinous
Shimmering orange-pink. Ripe, mineral-accented tangerine, red berries, peach and pungent flowers on the expansive nose. Pliant and impressively concentrated, showing fine definition to the juicy raspberry, nectarine, orange zest and honeysuckle flavors. The mineral note repeats strongly on the impressively long finish, which displays gentle grip and floral-driven persistence.
91 Points - Decanter
A fruit-forward nose with soft, green apple and pear notes coming through alongside lemon and ripe apricot. It’s definitely a different style to the Pure and Classic wines in Mirabeu's range, with a tangy acidity giving freshness and energy, plus a focus on stone fruit and crunchy citrus flavours. This limited-edition bottling was designed to be more of a gastronomic wine with a dominance of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah – the same blend each year. From grapes grown in the higher altitude vineyards around Montagne Ste-Victoire, southeast of Aix-en-Provence.
