Overview of the Wine
The House of Louis Jadot has been producing exceptional Burgundy wines since its founding in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot. For the past 150 years Louis Jadot has continued as one of the great names of Burgundy and has gained international reputation for its superb red and white Burgundy wines. Louis Jadot is not only one of the largest producers of estate Burgundies of the Cote d'Or, it is one of the most celebrated exporters of premium Burgundies, owning close to 140 acres of vineyards from 24 of the most prestigious sites in Burgundy.
In Burgundy wines have always worked with one of the varieties: Pinot Noir - for red wines, Chardonnay - for whites and Gamay - for Beaujolais. The grapes are harvested by hand, then passed the strict selection. To create a wine glorifying terroir, Jacques Larder working with a team of experienced professionals, together they ensure the success and future of the House Jadot. Since 1995, the company has its own cooperage fishing "Cadus", where are the barrels of oak, which grows in the best forests of France.

Taste wines flexible, echoing flavor. Has excellent balance, crisp tones of red currant and cranberry. The finish is very attractive and fresh. In the aromatic bouquet of wine present tone red and black raspberries, black currants, plums and hints of spice. Wine is the perfect accompaniment roast, grilled meat, poultry and soft cheeses such as Brie.
