Aromas of white peach, melon, honey and white flowers are accented by hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and crushed oystershell. The palate fills out beautifully across the mid-palate, showing concentration, texture and a faintly waxy character that carries throughout the finish. Produced in 20,000 bottles, the wine balances Mediterranean generosity with a subtle mineral edge. The acidity remains moderate, but there is enough substance here to suggest positive evolution over the next four to five years.
