Tasting Notes
A new wine from Tessa Laroche, which speaks to her passion for well crafted natural wines and her endless quest for deliciousness. Floral, incredibly fresh and zippy, this young vine Chenin is more reminiscent of Anjou Blanc than of its home terrain of Savennieres, which is normal according to Tessa as it not within appellation Savennieres!
94 Points - Ian Blackburn
An absolute joy to drink - for those that love geeky, dry, earthy, chenin blanc with zip and minerality... absolutely grown with the highest ethos. Restrained plus, this wine smells of schist (compliment) and minimalist winemaking included minute use of sulfur. If lazer beams had a taste - this would be it with a few rocks in the glass.... Color 14/15 (what is 15?), Aroma 24/25 (love this), Body 23/25 (dry, crisp, delicate but persistent plus) - Overall Impression 33/35 (A quality stuff all the way) = 94 Points
