"Clairet, which today denotes a more highly-coloured wine than normal rosé, is the name that gave rise to the English word “Claret”. Few make it today, but it really is Bordeaux’s original contribution to the world of rosé wine. (Bruno makes a lovely pale rosé as well, but we thought this one more unusual). This example is full of fruit and vigour. It truly does serve in place of both white and/or red, and it keeps exceptionally well."
From Wine Buyer - Unlike other rose that tire after a few years... this style can age a decade or more. 2016 is perhaps the best vintage of all time in Bordeaux - and this wine represents a wonderful value. 89-90 points - Its the white wine for red wine fans... its a red wine for white wine fans... meets you where you are.
