About the Producer
Cap Royal takes its name from the Royal Cordouan Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse of Europe, located at the entrance of the Gironde River. This 14th century beacon once provided safe passage for the Bordeaux wine merchants returning home after sharing their great wine with the rest of the world. Cap Royal benefits from the expertise of Jean René Matignon, winemaker of Château Pichon Baron, a Grand Cru Classé property in Pauillac. Jean René is know all throughout Bordeaux as a master in the art of blending and an expert in barrel aging.

A 100% Sauvignon Blanc from France, with Jasmine and guava on the nose. This has bright acidity and a beautiful softness to it. Kiwi, lemongrass, a hint of lime zest and mandarins. Dry, and even better after 20 minutes in your glass! Pair this with filet of sole, garlic marinated chicken thights, or key lime pie.
