Overview of the Wine
With his white wines of Veneto, Robert Anselmi has forged a category of his own and established new markers for quality in Italian wines. San Vincenzo is grown in the Monteforte area within the Veneto region of northern Italy. Vines are planted on 110 acres of volcanic tuff and limestone and are trained using the horizontal spurred cordon method. This food friendly style pairs well with smoked or grilled fish, shellfish, lobster salad and roast chicken.
During the manual harvest, only the healthiest and ripest grapes are selected. In consideration of the different stages of ripeness, the harvest is carried out in several phases. Roberto Anselmi is renowned for producing masterful wines made from Garganega vines. The San Vincenzo was aged for six months in stainless steel tanks, remaining in contact with the natural yeast, before it matured for a further three months in the bottle. The wines produced by Roberto Anselmi are regularly awarded top marks in the Gambero Rosso wine guide.
Enjoy the Anselmi San Vincenzo Bianco IGT with fish dishes, crustaceans or white meat. The dry wine from Italy is also a genuine delight to enjoy simply on its own – ideal for a lovely summer evening.
Grape / Blend
A cuvée consisting mainly of Garganega and smaller percentages of Chardonnay, it is redolent of fresh herbs, peach and pineapple. This white wine with its expressive mineral character is fresh and velvety on the palate.
