Overview of the Wine
It has been named "one of the best and most sophisticated Greek white wines". It is certainly one of the wines that have placed Anatolikos Vineyards and Nikolaidis bros among the Top Greek Producers, and their wines in the most fine restaurant and private cellars. In a combination that tends to become the most popular in Greece, Assyrtiko and Malagouzia, two flagship Greek varieties meet once again in a somewhat unequal relationship (90% Assyrtiko - 10% Malagouzia). Assyrtiko adds the intensity, structure and charm. Malagouzia softens the blend and adds finesse. With indigenous yeast, wild fermentation and maturation for six months in French oak barrels and on its fine lees, things get very interesting.
Grape / Blend
Assyrtiko 90% and Malagousia 10%, with the latter giving an additional aromatic element
