Ian Blackburn hosts a tasting of FOUR Beast Mode Wines!

Domaine Rostaing, Condrieu La Bonnette, Rhône, 2019
This comes from Rostaing’s hectare on largely granitic soils at the top of the hill. It’s tropical, with lychees, apricots and candied peel bolstered by ginger and vanilla spice. A luscious body and oily texture are balanced by juicy acidity. Orange blossom and honey notes persist on the palate. Drink now to 2024.

Domaine Thunevin-Calvet, Les Trois Marie, Côtes du Roussillon, France, 2015
Made with black Grenache, this cuvée expresses Maury's terroir in all its plenitude, power and elegance; Followed by a selection of our best plots and barrels. Dense and structured, this cuvée is very anchored in black fruits and liquorice, the end of mouth is tasty.

Chêne Bleu, Heloïse, Rhône, France, 2009
Concentrated, rich, ripe, red-fruit aromas with black pepper, smoke, cedar wood

and sweet spices. Powerful but balanced and structured, with velvety tannins; ripe Grenache from old vines hits high notes of red fruit, backed up by intense Syrah

A generous and intense wine, Héloïse is ideally suited to enjoy with lamb, red meat and roasted vegetables.

Chateau Maris Brama Grenache Gris, France, 2011
Fresh, focused tropical fruits, honeysuckle, lemon rind, and buttered almonds
on the nose. Medium-bodied, racy, and pure on the palate, with a lovely, elegant texture that's lifted by the wines acidity
