WHAT TO EXPECT
Once you sign up - we will include you as one of the panel of tasters. This is not a recording where you watch the host tell you what you should like… this is a discussion about the wines, sometimes with the winemaker, but most of the time wine expert and host Ian Blackburn gets to the core information about the winery - about the wine we are tasting and unravels the wine for discussion… sometimes we all agree the wine is NO GOOD! Sometimes we agree the wine is superior in the line up… each event comes with its own discoveries and the guests (YOU) are the tasters… ENJOY tasting with one of the top experts in the marketplace - To learn more about Ian - Click Here.

MAURITSON
Clay Mauritson [Held via video meeting]
Clay Mauritson is the sixth generation in a family of grape growers. Born and raised in the Dry Creek Valley, Clay was destined for the wine business. Clay's winemaking philosophy is simple: You need exceptional fruit to make exceptional wine. This is where the advantage of having a family heritage of grape growers becomes obvious: About 300 acres of Sonoma County family vineyards and strong relationships built over the years with other growers have given Clay access to some of the best fruit that Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley and Rockpile have to offer. Devoted to making exceptional wines, Clay is on his way to becoming one of California's foremost young winemakers.
