Overview of the Wine
Domaine de Fontenille sits at the heart of Luberon in Provence, France. In a country known for beauty, heritage, and premium wine, this region remains particularly special. Here, under a lavender-hued sky, mountainous slopes of clay and limestone give life to some of the world’s most expressive vines.
Originally established in 1638, Domaine de Fontenille has long been a standard-bearer for Luberon wines. But, young winemaker Xavier Balespouey is no captive of the past – he combines history’s lessons with modern minimal intervention techniques to create wines of cool, contemporary elegance.

Tasting Notes
This Rosé has a smooth and complex nose that mixes many aromas, all very different but also undeniably complementary. Exotic fruits, small red berries and a finish of herbal notes of the Provencal countryside. The palate is generous, frank, uncompromising. Its intensity is increasing to an infinite length.
A symphony full of nuances and variations. Very subtle notes of roses with notes of exotic fleshy fruits (peach, nectarine). Next, we have enveloping and round attack for a smooth first approach. It is then rising in intensity to finish with fireworks of acidity, minerality and tension.
