Overview of the Wine
The passion at Portlandia is to bring the best of what Oregon's Willamette Valley has to offer in both wine and lifestyle. They start with some natural advantages. The cool climate and coastal influences make Oregon's pinot noir and pinot gris some of the best in the world. But producing good wine in this climate still requires an enormous effort made possible only by a very creative and talented team. Damian Davis grew up back East and found that his first visit to the Willamette Valley was mesmerizing. It was some of the most beautiful ag land he had ever seen. A city on the mighty Columbia River on one end and mountain walls on the other three sides, beautiful dark soil, valley and hills covered in lush green growth. How could you not be inspired to cook or try your hand at fermenting? And that’s just what he did! He left the tech world behind and dove headfirst into the world of Willamette Valley Wine. And now here they are, more than a decade later and his passion and love for the region has only increased and inspires their team daily. Portlandia is a peaceful, concerned, edgy wine that demands your attention with depth and drinkability for every occasion. What makes Portlandia special is its view on life—play hard, work later—like only an Oregonian can understand.

90 Points - Wine Enthusiast
The fresh pear fruit is vivid and crisp as an autumn breeze. The fruit is lightly dappled with black pepper. Though not a complex wine, it's immensely refreshing, with a slightly high-toned burst at the finish.
Ian Blackburn Tasting - this wine is solid, clean, fresh, and delicious... a value wine that delivers great BY THE GLASS or with food. No sweetness here but good richness perhaps by lees stirring... but this is straight forward good, clean fun.
89-90 Points - Ian Blackburn - A great value
